🌾 Pongal Festival – A Brief Note
Pongal is a traditional harvest festival celebrated mainly in Tamil Nadu, India. It usually falls in mid-January and marks the beginning of the sun’s northward journey (Uttarayan). The festival lasts for four days and is dedicated to thanking nature, the Sun God, cattle, and farmers for a good harvest.
