Historic Thanksgiving Eucharist of Most Rev. Dr. Rabindra Kumar Ranasingh at Kasabasa

on 19th of January , Kasabasa village was blessed to witness a historic and grace-filled celebration with the first Thanksgiving Holy Eucharist of Most Rev. Dr. Rabindra Kumar Ranasingh, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Cuttack–Bhubaneswar. This sacred occasion became a moment of deep spiritual joy and a source of pride for the faithful and the entire motherland.

His Excellency was accorded a warm and faith-filled reception by the people of Kasabasa, marked by a joyful bike rally covering nearly ten kilometres, culminating reverently at the sacred Altar by dance. This vibrant expression of unity and devotion reflected the strong bond between the shepherd and his people. A significant highlight of the celebration was the inauguration and blessing of the Church Arch by His Excellency, symbolizing the growth of faith and the abiding presence of Christ in the community.

The solemn Thanksgiving Eucharist was concelebrated in the esteemed presence of Most Rev. Niranjan Swal Singh, Bishop of Sambalpur Diocese; Most Rev. Sarat Chandra Nayak, Bishop of Berhampur Diocese; and Most Rev. Appolina Senapati, Bishop of Rayagada Diocese, along with numerous priests and religious. The liturgical celebration was prayerful, sacred, and deeply inspiring.

Nearly four thousand faithful from Kasabasa and neighbouring villages participated devoutly in this grace-filled celebration. For me, it was a powerful spiritual witness and a holy inspiration.
